BIO.

COLD ATLANTIC is the solo project of Jared McCarthy.
A founding member of Brooklyn’s Panama Wedding, he played guitar, keys, and sang backup on tour and in the studio.

He’s been releasing music as COLD ATLANTIC since 2011, including the Copycat Guitar EP (2022) produced with Jon Markson and Brothertiger’s John Jagos. In 2025, he finally released a long-ago recording with former PW bandmates as a side-project EP under Waver FM.

He now plays live music around Portland, ME, often with his father & father-in-law, under the name, OLD ATLANTIC.
